Division Manager – Interim & Temporary Recruitment
Nicholas Howard are excited to be adding to our outstanding team. We are looking for a star performer to fill this additional brand new role with our team –
Title – Division Manager – Interim & Temporary Recruitment
Location – Office/Home/Field based
Who we are…
Nicholas Howard provide Professional Recruitment Services across multiple disciplines including:
Life Sciences, Legal, Finance & Accounting, Financial Services, Office Support, Technical and Defence.
We believe that recruitment should be managed professionally and with one overriding goal –
‘to recruit the way our clients would do it’.
We are passionate about the fact that recruitment needs to be easy, straightforward and, most
importantly, an extension of our client’s culture. That is why we will not force clients to work to ‘our’
rules. We will advise on the systems that we have found most successful and tailor these systems
to combine favourably with client’s existing processes and procedures.
The business was established in January 2009 and since then has grown to be a leading niche service, boutique provider of complete recruitment services, from full RPO solutions, to ‘one-off’ campaigns.
We work across Europe and the Middle East and service small owner managed businesses through to international, FTSE 100, global organisations.
How we do it…
Since the beginning, we have believed that good recruitment is flexible recruitment; we therefore offer our team the same flexibility we offer our clients. We believe that a good working relationship is built on trust, understanding and a joint desire to achieve mutual goals. We endeavour to offer a working style that is relaxed, hardworking and successful. By maintaining a levelheaded and grown-up approach to success and challenge, we believe we have created an atmosphere which makes success inevitable, and more importantly, enjoyable.
What about you?
To be successful in our business, you’ll need to think like us and want the things we want: a happy and challenging environment, financial success, credibility with clients, and respect within your chosen field. If you strive for these virtues, you will do well at Nicholas Howard.
What do you need?
We don’t like lists, but we are looking for all or most of the following:
- A credible personality
- A mature approach to work
- Experience winning new business ideally contract and temporary assignments
- A willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- A desire to learn and adapt to the needs and requirements of clients and colleagues
- An interest in people and a passion for understanding candidates career goals
- A willingness to develop a strong understanding of business, industry and how culture may affect successful placements
What will you be doing?
In this role specifically, you will be working closely with the Directors of the business to set up and lead the activities of a new Interim and Temporary Division.
Your goal will be to win business within new clients, alongside developing further opportunities in existing accounts. These requirements may be worked by you directly, or more likely will be picked up by our existing team of delivery consultants, leaving you to oversee and continue to build further relationships and processes for the division.
This role will be home, office and field based, with regular virtual, in person and telephone meetings with clients, which will be supported by the Directors of the business.
Our business model allows us to work openly across all geographical regions in the UK and Europe, and without any sector constraints.
On occasion there may be the need to assist on other areas of the business, as dictated by your line manager, and according to workload.
This represents an outstanding opportunity to set up and grow a division, within an existing successful business, and we expect this person to become a senior leader within the Nicholas Howard business as our temporary division flourishes.
At Nicholas Howard we’re engaging with experience
…why don’t you?
