Conveyancing Secretary – Newbury, Berkshire

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary with Residential Property/ Residential Conveyancing experience now looking for a new and challenging role ?

An efficient and highly professional Legal Secretary is now required to join the busy Residential Property department of this high profile law firm in Newbury. The role will be fast paced and demanding and therefore the ability to handle a busy workload is essential.

Role will involve working closely with a Senior Partner and Solicitor including:

Typing letters, emails, faxes and attendance notes

Obtaining searches using the Land Registry and Index Property Information

Copy typing documents

Preparing completion statements

Preparing bills on a monthly basis

Archiving completed files

Working to tight deadlines under pressure

Drafting Land Registry forms

Using digital dictation system

Assisting with various aspects of the conveyancing process as required
