Legal PA – Crawley, West Sussex

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary or Legal PA from a strong legal or professional services background now looking for a varied and challenging role in a dynamic and successful law firm ?

Our client is a leading full service private practice law firm in Crawley, West Sussex with a strong reputation for high standards of client care and providing excellent legal advice.

They now require a talented full-time Legal Secretary/ PA to work within their expanding and fast-paced Employment Law department assisting Partners and Fee-earners. The role will be suitable for an experienced Secretary with legal secretarial and administration experience gained within either Employment Law, or other departments of a law firm or who has previously held a Float Secretary role before.

Responsibilities will involve providing high level secretarial and administrative support to the fee earners including :

Audio Typing using Digital Dictation

Drafting documents and document prodoction

Use of case management systems

Arranging meetings, conferences and client interviews organising fee earner appointments and diaries

Preparing case notes and Court bundles

Billing and Invoicing

Telephone answering and recording of messages and appointments

Communication with clients and others

Dealing with all usual aspects of legal office administration and file management as well as archiving

Liaising with clients in correspondence, on the telephone and in person

Key competencies will include excellent IT skills, flexibility, attention to detail, effeciency, initiative, strong communication skills, able to work to deadlines in a demanding environment, professionalism and a positive attitude.
