Claims Investigator – Insurance Claims, 12 month contract – Sheffield
Due to expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Claims Investigator. The role is working for our client in Sheffield who is an accredited and fully FCA authorised UK based specialist Financial/ Debt Recovery Litigation law firm based in the heart of vibrant Manchester. Role is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours/ week) the hours of work are 8.30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday and is offered on a fixed term 12 month basis.
Our client works on behalf of 7 of the Top 10 UK banks providing a range of services supporting customers in financial difficulties , it is part of a Top 20 UK legal services business founded in 1912 and operating out of 14 UK offices with over 2,500 members of staff.
To review and gather information in relation to an ongoing insurance claim. Interviewing subjects of claims using a prescribed format over the telephone in order to prepare an admissible witness statement for our clients that the claimant is happy to sign. Provide a professional and informative primary point of contact for all customers and clients whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Inbound and outbound calls to clients to gather information for statements
- Dealing with account enquiries and updating case management system
- Resolving customer complaints
- Adhering to SLA’s, compliance, legislation and codes of practice
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and ideally have current experience within the insurance industry and/ or customer insurance claims and excellent customer service standards with call centre experience. Member of a Credit/ Collection regulatory body would be preferable.
