Country Medical Lead – Romania – 12 month contract

Nicholas Howard Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a new and exciting role as a Country medical lead with a pharmaceutical company based in Romania.

The Country Medical Lead will provide comprehensive medical and scientific support for products in a specific therapeutic area within a local operating company. Primary responsibilities include scientific projects to design development and follow up, provide scientific education programs for health care professionals, and offer collaborative support for commercial activities.

 

The role will be to:

  • Develop scientific programs within the local medical plan
  • Develop appropriate responses to unique inquiries as required, such as the presentation of scientific evidence and medical education
  • Ensure the implementation of local publication plan and RWE generation
  • Attend selected appropriate national and international professional meetings, respond to medical and scientific questions and enhance the development of KOL relationship
  • Provide support in cross-functional therapeutic projects such as slide-deck development, training initiatives and publication planning, at the LOC level
  • Review and approve LOC promotional materials, presentations and activities, including congresses and meetings, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Administer and track dedicated financial budgets
  • Implement Global Medical Plans in focus disease areas at the country level
  • Define specific medical programs and activities (e.g. medical meetings, disease state education, advisory boards) and associated resource requirements and budgets (Local Medical Plan)
  • Collaborate with Country Medical Head and Global Medical Team to provide country input into Global Medical Plans and translate Global Medical Strategy to in-year Country activity plans

 

 

Key Skill:

  • Demonstrated scientific knowledge and continuing efforts to update and improve knowledge in an specific therapeutic area
  • Demonstrated experience in scientific publications
  • Evidence in managing medical project showing ability to liaise with other non-scientific departments
  • Articulate and persuasive during formal and informal presentations; able to convey scientific ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent evaluative and listening skills; able to provide appropriate, constructive feedback
  • Proven capability to manage projects with different stakeholders in the an appropriate time
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage internal and external relationships
  • Effective use of professional communications to cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Ability to work effectively on multi-disciplinary teams in order to achieve desired outcomes
