Team Leader – Debt Recovery, Manchester

Are you an experienced Team Leader/ Manager/ Supervisor from a Debt Recovery, Credit, Finance or Collections background with a strong understanding of the operational aspects involved with managing a team?

We now have an exciting position with our client who is an accredited and fully authorised specialist Debt Recovery Litigation law firm based in the vibrant city centre of Manchester.

The Role

As the Team Leader working to KPI’s and and SLA’s, you will be responsible for managing the daily activity and operational aspects of a team at head office and dealing with unsecured consumer recoveries. You must ensure that the team is meeting the required client SLA’s to comply with expectations and policies. You will provide a professional and informative primary point of contact for all customers, clients and third parties whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Supporting the Operational Manager you will be responsible for the co-ordination of resources including conducting 1:1s and appraisals, management of daily workloads, productivity and KPI’s as well as achieving service level standards and optimising staff levels on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will ideally have sound knowledge of the debt recovery process and a minimum of 1-2 years team leader/ manager experience from a regulated area such as a contact centre, collections or secured recoveries areas.

We are looking for confident, proactive and results driven candidates with positive attitudes to succeed in a very busy work environment.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a CRB and Credit check and therefore a clear credit history together with no criminal record is required.
